Keno Golf NSW 2 Ball Ambrose – Club Qualifier

The Keno Let’s Play Ambrose Qualifier will be held at Long Reef this week.

• Ladies’ Events: Thursday 28th & Saturday 30th September (combined results across both days).

• Men’s Event: Saturday 30th September.

The leading Ladies’ team from the combined Thursday/Saturday field will progress to Stage 2 – the Regional Finals. If the leading pair is unavailable, the next placed pair may take their place. Two Women’s pairs and two Men’s pairs from Long Reef will qualify to represent our Club at Regional level.

This event is played annually following our greens renovations, while the course recovers back to its usual standard.

Key Competition Rules

1. The pair’s playing handicap = ¼ of their combined daily handicap.

2. Each player must use at least 6 tee shots during the round.

3. Men play from Blue tees, Ladies from Red tees.

4. Preferred lie: 30cm in the General Area, no nearer the hole.

5. If in a penalty area, relief must be taken within the penalty area unless proceeding under penalty.

6. Minimum combined daily handicap of 8 (pairs with less are ineligible).

7. No more than 20 strokes difference between players’ daily handicaps.

8. Both players must be 18 years or older by the State Final date.

• Friday 24th Oct – Muirfield GC

• Sunday 26th Oct – Thurgoona CC

• Sunday 2nd Nov – Forster Tuncurry GC / Gunnedah GC
